But, the distance selection technology allows the process to be done, without having any contact with the surface of the machine. This is an innovative way of adding both safety and hygiene to the process.
The mechanical push-button or touch-screen panels on coffee machines are now being replaced by new technologies that work remotely. This includes our revolutionary Distance Selection technology featured in Coffeetek Vitro Coffee machines. Thanks to this, the user can select the product they want from a distance of up to 2 centimetres from the surface of the selection panel as shown in this video (left)

Thanks to JURA Smart Connect, you can quite easily use your smart accessories such as your phone, to make your coffee. JURA Smart Connect also enables communication with smart accessories. Our new JURA Smart Connect uses Bluetooth® communication, based on a transmitter that is simply plugged into the coffee machine. With the app you can then wirelessly operate and program the machine and link up to various accessories.
The Schaerer Soul technology simply works by scanning a QR code on the screen of the machine. This will open up the web application on a phone and present the user with a series of options to choose a drink. No app required.
