WORKING TOWARDS
A CARBON-NEUTRAL FUTURE

Climate change poses a serious threat to coffee farmers and the overall production of coffee.
We believe that the coffee industry as a whole should begin to take steps to reduce its carbon footprint.

Triple Certified Coffee Beans

Our Café Bonté Triple Certified Coffee Beans are now proudly carbon-neutral, as well as being Organic and Rainforest Alliance certified.

Every bag of coffee purchased also contributes to providing safe drinking water in Malawi.

Providing Safe Water in Malawi, Africa

Malawi is one of the least developed countries in the world and relies heavily on external aid to develop. One of the biggest crises the country faces is the lack of safe drinking water. To reduce the risk of consuming contaminated water, it needs to be boiled beforehand. This requires the labour intensive task of collecting firewood and boiling enough water for everyone. This is usually done by women.

This project provides safe water by restoring boreholes in the community. It also focuses on providing education on the operating and maintenance of the boreholes, resulting in the reduction of future problems. Women who would have collected firewood and boiled the water, now have more time for education and other projects.

On an environmental level, removing the need to boil water not only saves trees from being cut down for wood, it also reduces the release of carbon emissions.

At Liquidline, sustainability and giving back to communities is at the forefront of our business.

Our aim is to provide responsibly sourced coffee that positively impacts all aspects of the environment. We have carefully chosen a coffee bean supplier who is committed to working towards carbon-neutral coffee production and supporting less-developed communities.
