Project Summary
A Unique Challenge
Having worked with the Marriott Group for many years, providing refreshments for their state of the art flagship showroom at Audi Ipswich, they approached us with a very unique challenge following the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in early 2020.
Keen to continue providing the same memorable experience and exceptional levels of service as before the pandemic, but with an increased focus on health and safety, Audi reached out to us for a refreshment solution that would limit physical touchpoints within the showroom with their customers and team.
Vorsprung Durch Technik
No stranger to embracing technology, Audi’s ad slogan ‘Vorsprung Durch Technik’ quite literally means ‘advancement through technology’, Audi Ipswich were one of our first automotive customers to fully embrace touchless refreshment technology.
We replaced their existing coffee machine with the brand new Cafétouch 8 bean to cup coffee machine. Combining modern aesthetics with unparalleled performance and reliability, the Cafétouch 8 allows users to dispense a wide range of freshly prepared speciality coffees with just a few taps on their smartphone.
Featuring hard-wearing components and a solid outer casing, the Swiss manufactured Cafétouch 8 is ideal for high-volume commercial environments. Offering over 30 different speciality hot drinks combinations, it is guaranteed to impress even the most discerning coffee drinker.
We also installed a desktop Borg & Overström B4 water chiller, with an added hands-free foot pedal dispense system. Hydration is really important in a busy showroom, and providing hands-free chilled water ensures the Audi team stay alert and at the top of their game throughout the working day,
Finally, to complete the offering, we supplied a range of single-use accessories that would provide everything the team at Audi needed to prepare the perfect cup of coffee for their customers, safely and hygienically, from disposable paper cups and stirrers to single portion sugar sachets and sweeteners.
Providing Audi continue to purchase our consumables from us they will also receive free maintenance and servicing on all of their machines.
