Reaching New Heights of Coffee Satisfaction

The relationship between MCS Group and Liquidline began through an introduction from Calibro, the fit-out partner responsible for the design and build of MCS’s new space. Recognising the importance of high-quality refreshments in an upgraded office setting, Liquidline engaged MCS Group in a hands-on approach to coffee machine selection. Starting with an in-office tasting session using a selection of machines and our Café Bonté range of coffee beans, the MCS team had the chance to experience the capabilities of Liquidline’s Skye and Club coffee machines, both of which were ultimately chosen for their exceptional quality and user-friendly design.

We engaged Liquidline while preparing to move to our new offices in The Ewart Building in Belfast City Centre. We have experienced extensive growth in recent years and with that, we wanted to create a welcoming shared workspace which would accommodate and facilitate both hybrid and collaborative working.

With our focus increasing on a more flexible working environment, it was imperative that we had the right space and setting to enable agile working practices. The goal – to turn this into an engaging destination workspace which supports the team’s continued growth plans and creates an impactful experience and lasting impression on both clients and staff.

Liquidline were recommended to us by our designers, and it was apparent to us from the outset that they would be able to provide us with what we were looking for. As well as an amazing workspace, we wanted to enhance the overall experience of our staff, clients and visitors with fantastic refreshments and offer a range of drinks that would suit everyone.

After discussions about our needs, we were provided with the Schaerer Coffee Skye machine and the Schaerer Club Coffee Machine. Both machines provide a range of hot drinks including Flat Whites, Lattes, Mochas and hot chocolate. The machines were installed and even though we experienced a few technical issues to begin with, these were rapidly solved by Liquidline engineers.

The feedback for both the coffee and chocolate has been excellent. I have heard on more than one occasion that it’s the best hot chocolate they have tasted, and the coffee beans always need to be refilled, a testament to how popular the machines are. We have gone from ordering 3 bottles of milk a week to 18 – which tells you all you need to know with how popular the machines are!

As with all Liquidline projects in the fit-out sector, the installation process at The Ewart Building was conducted with precision and collaboration. Liquidline worked closely with Calibro to implement the chosen coffee solutions into MCS’s new workspace without any disruptions. Through this hands-off approach, Liquidline coordinated each detail with the Calibro team to ensure a stress-free experience, setting MCS Group up with delicious and fully equipped coffee stations, ready for staff to use from day one.

The client opted to support their chosen machines by choosing Liquidline’s ongoing maintenance and dedicated support package, ensuring that MCS Group’s new high-rise office continues to enjoy a premium coffee experience without interruptions.

Alongside their seamless installation and expert maintenance support, MCS Group also benefit from access to an extensive range of high-quality consumables, via our online portal. Thanks to their earlier tasting session, the team grew to love the Platino and Italia coffee beans from our Café Bonté range. These have become their go-to blends and are on their regular orders along with our rich hot chocolate, and essential cleaning supplies to keep their machines running smoothly.

Making things easy, all these consumables and more can be ordered through the My Account portal, allowing them to keep their coffee supplies fully stocked with just a few clicks. Ensuring MCS Group’s team has consistent access to the great tasting coffee at the touch of a button.
