Designed Around Flexibility

Antares Global Management was reviewing how refreshments could better support both the employee experience and client engagement across its London workplace.

Initially introduced through a design and build partner during an office fit-out project, the relationship began with discussions around creating a refreshment offering suited to a modern shared office environment. Following an initial showroom visit and coffee tasting at our Farringdon showroom, the project first focused on supporting the client’s first-floor workspace before later expanding across the remaining floors within the building.

As requirements developed, the focus shifted towards delivering a more consistent and reliable refreshment experience across breakout areas, tea points, meeting rooms and client-facing spaces while also allowing flexibility for different coffee preferences throughout the building.

Alongside improving drink quality and day-to-day reliability, close collaboration with the wider fitout team was required in the first phase to ensure installations aligned with the building refurbishment schedule. Following this, we proceeded to phase two, working directly with the Antares Facilities Team to implement refreshment solutions across an additional five floors.

Matching the Right Machine to Each Space

The refreshment setup combined a tailored mix of Schaerer Soul 10 fresh milk coffee machines, Borg & Overström T3 taps, Wave Box Fizz dispensers and Schaerer Skye machines across multiple floors within the building.

The Schaerer Soul 10 machines were selected as the preferred option for areas where a premium bean to cup coffee experience and fresh milk offering were important to the overall workplace environment. Their ease of use and ability to support consistent drink quality suited busy breakout areas used throughout the working day.

The T3 taps were recommended for floors requiring efficient self-service coffee solutions with flexibility around coffee preferences and bean selection. This approach allowed different floors to tailor refreshments to the needs of specific teams and users while maintaining consistency across the wider workplace.

A Wave Box Fizz dispenser was added into the kitchen on the 7th floor to provide convenient access to chilled and sparkling water for the meeting rooms located on this floor.

On the seventh floor client engagement area, the refreshment setup was designed to support a more premium hospitality experience, combining coffee systems, water solutions and filter coffee equipment within a dedicated client-focused environment.

Supporting a Smooth Rollout Across the Building

A key element of the project involved coordinating installations alongside the wider office fit-out.

We worked closely with fit-out partner Form Fit Out throughout the planning and installation process, providing pre-installation guidance and technical requirements to support cabinetry preparation, utilities and equipment positioning across the first floor.

By maintaining close communication with the fit-out teams, we efficiently progressed through phase one of the project. Following this, we successfully moved on to phase two, closely collaborating with the client to ensure a smooth rollout across the building.

Although minor installation adjustments were required within one of the client-facing areas, responsive support and on-site coordination ensured the issue was resolved quickly, allowing all systems to become fully operational after installation.

The Liquidline team remained closely involved throughout delivery, including attending installations on-site to support coordination and ensure the refreshment setup aligned with the client’s expectations and operational requirements.

The client also benefits from ongoing maintenance support, helping maintain reliability and continuity across the workplace environment.

Creating a Consistent Experience

The completed installation now provides employees and visitors with access to flexible and reliable refreshments throughout the building.

By tailoring equipment selections to the needs of different floors and workplace environments, we helped Antares create a solution designed around both operational efficiency and user experience.

The phased expansion from a single-floor installation to a wider building rollout also reflected growing confidence in the partnership and the ability to support evolving workplace requirements over time.

The project further demonstrated the value of collaborative planning between Liquidline, the client and the wider fit-out teams in delivering a refreshment solution suited to a modern multi-floor workplace environment.
