Saturday 01 October 2016 sees the second annual International Coffee Day.
Run by the International Coffee Organisation (ICO) International Coffee Day brings together the 77 member states of the ICO and many other coffee related businesses. Coffee lovers around the globe are holding events to celebrate.
The ICO was founded in 1963 after the International Coffee Agreement (ICA) came into play in 1962. International Coffee Day was launched in 2015 and celebrates coffee from harvest to cup.
In 2016 more than 70 events will be held across 35 countries.
You can attend an event or hold your own. As it’s the Macmillan Cancer Care World’s Biggest Coffee Morning on 30 September, you could combine the two!
